Our seller's husband had purchased this KOLB MK III aproximately 3 years ago. He was an avid pilot who served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 23 years. His passion for flying, became his wife's as well.
Unfortunately, he was unable to complete the building of this airplane due to sudden illness. Our seller's husband passed away 2 years ago. Our seller would like this airplane to find a new home with someone who would truly appreciate it.

Our seller advises that the nose to the engine is one part of the plane. Her husband added the wheels and tail section, mounted the engine and propeller, and decided to install a solid seat as opposed to a sling seat as included with the kit.

Please notice that this airplane has been hanger kept. We have included a picture of a wall hanging that is found in the workshop adjacent to the hanger: Flying is the 2nd greatest thrill known to man, Landing is the first. Did we mention that the hanger was built especially for the airplanes our seller and her husband used to fly?
The pictures included in this listing will show the current condition of the aircraft. The wings and flaps are hanging on the walls of the hanger and are shown here. Also, there are several boxes of parts for the kit, along with all the manuals.
